US Pro Scene's Climate Changes in 2008 Between MasterCraft and Malibu, it's shaping up to be one of the most exiciting summers that pro skiing has seen in a number of years. With a string of events around the US, Dana Reed has organized a pretty extensive MasterCraft tour that is sure to bring the thrill of pro waterskiing to the people this summer. Malibu has brought their Open tournament back to the States in '08, and they're doing it in a unique way; joining forces with the organizers of "Quake on the Lake", a hydroplane racing festival in Michigan, the Malibu Open is sure to broadcast pro water skiing loud and clear to a bunch of new faces. 2008 US Pro Events May 30-June 1 (Slalom) Talking Rock, Ga.
