Since my ski season is all but over here in Utah i've been contemplating a trip to Florida this winter. is there any bad months to ski in Florida or is it wide open? i'm considering going in feb or maybe march. so i can get some coaching and start out next season with a bang. any thoughts would be great. also any advice as to where i should go to ski as far as price, environment, coaching etc would be appreciated.
i've emailed Wade and he's probably my first choice to go down there and ski with, but i would love to hear others experiences about where to visit in Florida
I've ski'd at several places in Florida over the years. West Palm, McCormicks, Lucky's, SkiTek(w/ the Boston Wader!), Port St Lucie...
McCormick's is OK, I'll never go back to Lucky's... You definately won't be disappointed with Wade at SkiTek - their two lakes are cash money! And I like Wade's coaching style... (Hint: Wade likes Sam Adams Beer)
Well I guess this is a good time to mention that I'm not available for coaching @SkiTek anymore.
I am available online for virtual coaching though! Purchase a lesson today to help support Pro Ski Coach!
So I'll have limited availability for coaching this winter. Get in touch with me soon as I'm trying to consolidate the folks who want to ski with me into a few weeks here and there.
I'm also going to be heading down to Water Ski Costa Rica in the spring sometime ... probably beginning of March. Let me know if you want to come! Should be a great time.

Wade, Please tell us more..... Why are you no longer teaching at SkiTech? Who besides Chris will be teaching at SkiTech?
We went to Drew Ross' a few years ago it was pretty nice as well. I would like to hear about more schools in florida as well.
Video ability would also be the Bomb. Then you could actually see what your doing right and what needs some help... Breakin' it down with words and instant replay... Say it, see it, -be it...
