Ski Log Sharing

Trying to move towards a more interactive experience for all of you using the ski log. On your Ski Log Settings Page You can now select to make your log Public.

If you'd like anyone to be able to view and comment on your log, you can select this option. Your log will be made available on your skier page for anyone to read and comment on it.

If you don't want to make it public -- That's fine... Your log stays private by default. Making it public might help you get some inspiration from other skiers who have the same problems as you.

Like a lot of the other things going on, this is a pretty basic feature right now. It will evolve!

Next up is to make it so you can share your log with a short list of skiers, like your training partners and friends.

Re: Ski Log Sharing

hey wade, just wondering.. why is it that my name is shown up in the Ski League Rankings but not the regular rankings page?? i've posted four sets and stuff. Do i have to add in a few more sets to really sink in a good average?? 1/2 of my logs have been free skiing. does that not count towards the rankings? Not that its any big deal i was just wondering :]

thanks!

Re: Ski Log Sharing

Yep, for the rankings you need scores in the course - free skiing doesnt count towards your ranking average. (although it's still encouraged!)

Re: Ski Log Sharing

Wade,
While tracking my best "up-the-rope" pass, it may be only my 3rd pass of the set.  I may take 3 to 5 more passes for that set and would like to document my "up-the-rope" pass and my best practice pass.   You can still calculate scores from "up-the-rope" or "tournament" rounds. The current log allows only one choice. Can you add an additional box or selection to allow for this?

+1.

For me, one of the functions of the ski log is to keep track of the best score of the set, even if its not an Up The Rope score.  Having two scores input, one for UTR and one for overall, would allow the UTR score to count for the Shootout, while still keeping track of the overall best score.

Re: Ski Log Sharing

You can always log 2 sets- one set as your practice set and one as your UTR set.
