Looks like the next few days are going to be epic skiing considering the weak year we have had. If your in the hood (Wade) your timing couldnt be better. Happy turns to all whether its of the liquid type or on the frozen stuff.

We've been getting teased all week and were expecting to be hammered all day today... Well it finally started around 5:00. I know where I'll be tomorrow morning.
Skied 11 inches of fresh out here in Oregon today... AWESOME Its too bad this is our first race weekend and I have to try to put on an event in powder.... anyone know how to snow plow and want to work
Powder to a ski racer is like jet skis to a slalom skier.

I can relate to that growing up racing in utah, idaho and wyoming. Some times the ruts were so deep it was rediculous but that is racing in the west for you. Skiing Alta for the next few days now that it is finally dumping!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was up at the Bird today, finally feels like winter in Utah!
I have Alta in my sights for the next two days for sure then heading to the uintas for an all you can eat pound and blast day of untracked over the hood snomobiling.

How much did you guys get over there? We got a foot last night after little dribbles all week. Yeah winter again! Snowing again and I guess it's supposed to keep up through the weekend. There's a lot of aspirin going around right now!

Blows me away, Alta always gets at least twice what we get here. Plus there's no moisture in the snow!
Add to that total last night another 16" fell making this cycle total over a 8 day period 6 to 7 feet. The mountain yesterday was incredible. If you get up there today im sure it will go down as "Epic Alta". Wade knows how to time things.

Sounds like you guys are enjoying epic conditions. A friend of mine just left for SLC and I'm bummed I wasn't able to join him. I'm glad to hear that your season is finally turning around out there. I'll heading that way in March, but sadly I don't think Alta is on the agenda.
