I've seen lots of posts on the pros/cons of different bindings, but nothing on the different RTP options. I've tried the HO Floating RTP and the wileys M and L. With the Wileys L my foot was slipping all over the place. With the M i had to almost tilt my foot sideways to jam it in, but at least it didn't slip around. The HO i really had to work to get my foot in far enough, but it I was successful in that before i had to pull out for the gate it felt secure.
What RTPs do others like and what should I consider?
I've a D3 RTP and love it.
My son had a HO RTP (very new) and thorn it last weekend, he's going to switch to rear boot now.
Very glad to say he did not injured his ankle when that happened right at 6ball.

I had the same problem with my RTP not fitting. I have a medium Radar http://www.radarskis.com/fixed_rtp.html but if I had known before hand I would have bought the parts at http://www.perfski.com/Waterskis/Waters … 60C292FD4D or just the rubber from http://www.perfski.com/Waterskis/Waters … 60C292FD4D The RTP with the foot bed in just felt to small and I could not get my foot in it where I wanted it to be so I unscrewed the overlay and took out the foam foot pad by heating it with a hair dryer and then I replaced it with grip tape from Home Depot. I can get my foot in farther now and with the grip tape my foot stays in better than ever, also it allows you to have more control in my opinion. If you want I can post Pictures of my set up
somewhat similar to Matt... I found the "pebble deck" on the Radar to be a bit too slick. I flipped it over and covered it with black grip tape from home depot (in the paint section, about $10 I think). I can get "crawl" my foot in deeper w/ the grip tape.
