That's a great article! I've always had the un-balanced approach!

"Speed is defined as distance over time. If we cover more distance in the same amount of time, we will arrive earlier at the next buoy".
How Great is that put?!! It may only be simple deduction But, stated like that, it is Very Profound!
Way to go Chris!
Bravo Chris. I always look forward to reading your articles! They are never the same regurgitated ski babble that gets reprinted year after year, they are always well planned and incredibly thought provoking! I understand you are a tad handicapped there at SkiTek having that dead weight Wade Williams (Just Kidding WADE!) slacking around but you guys are indeed running a killer program! I can't wait to get back to Orlando and come rip!
lol Thanks KState - come rip soon!
The balanced approach is the sure way to success this summer! Folks of all levels have been ripping it at SkiTek after their first couple sets!

Wade Wade Wade....you clam chowda head stranger, how the hell are ya? I may be in your hizzy the 1st wknd of May...you gonna b around? Do you even know who this is? here's a hint-last time we skied the water was calm and the beer was cold...i showed up after nationals with a new ski to rip @ 34 bc im old. I had a buddy in tow that you needed to constantly scold. You left him in the drink all alone in the cold. ya, thats right, its Tim B from MO...i may be jumping a flight to Orlando w my girl to get away for our b-days in May...would like to rip a few sets if you are around...nothing's solid yet, just looking into it. lemme know chief...
my preferred method is the "balanced crash" its a carefully planned and well executed way of running 28s and 32s out of control and sometimes skipping across when burying the tip. If you'd like some pointers let me know - I have years of experience and a wealth of knowledge with this particular technique!
ahhh i love digging through the old posts!! GREAT article!!!
Very good article, gonna try to put it to work this afternoon
